Southeast Louisiana Legal Services is the largest nonprofit public interest law firm in the state. Roughly 60 attorneys cover a service area that grew recently from 10 to 22 parishes across the region.  Today SLLS has offices in Baton Rouge, Covington, Hammond, Harvey, Houma, and New Orleans. SLLS received several awards for its outstanding work, including the American Bar Association's 2012 Hodson Award.

Deferred Associates or Public Interest Fellows:

SLLS has positions available for volunteer attorneys/deferred associates/legal fellows willing to make a commitment of three months up to a year to work in all practice areas and projects. Special projects may be designed based on a Fellow's experience and interests.
