SLLS Co-Director Mark Moreau spoke to the the Internal Revenue Service's Region Three Taxpayer Advocacy Panel at its May 2010 meeting.

Mr. Moreau spoke about the work of Low-Income Taxpayer Clinics and common tax law problems faced by low-income workers. The IRS Taxpayer Advocacy Panel is a federal advisory committee that makes recommendations to the IRS for improvement of services. Region Three includes representatives from the Gulf Coast states, Arkansas, and Georgia.
