Ray Steib was elected recently to a judgeship on the 24th Judicial District Court, one of the largest courts of general jurisdiction in Louisiana.

Judge Steib has served for many years on the board of Southeast Louisiana Legal Services (formerly known in New Orleans as "New Orleans Legal Assistance" or "NOLAC"). He was our board president from 2004 to 2006, and he is a past president of the Jefferson Bar Association.
