The Hammond and Covington offices of Southeast Louisiana Legal Services have launched live pro se uncontested divorce clinics. Hammond's pro se clinic was offered on Thursday, April 8, and will continue every other Thursday for those seeking a simple uncontested divorce in the 21st Judicial District. Starting April 15, those filing in the 22nd Judicial District may attend a pro se clinic every other Thursday at SLLS' Covington office.
The clinics feature a presentation about the court process and help completing court forms from Anthony Sartorio, an AmeriCorps Legal Fellow with the Louisiana Bar Foundation.
