Rita Pereira, managing attorney of the SLLS' Homeless Advocacy Unit, and SLLS attorney Jessie Lind held a training on November 18 for the housing support social work team of the N.O. Aids Task Force. The training focused on ways to help clients, especially homeless clients, succeed at the first step of a disability benefits application with the Social Security Administration.

Rita Pereira also spoke about services for the homeless at a Homeless Prevention Rapid Rehousing (HPRP) training on December 2.
