Recent law school graduates, Jacqueline Childers, Eugenio Labadie and Nevin Smith are volunteering at our New Orleans office.

Jacqeline Childers has an LLM in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law and a JD law degree from the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law. Ms. Childers is a member of the Kentucky bar. She has previously worked for the Internal Revenue Service. Ms. Childers works with our Low Income Taxpayer Clinic.

Eugenio Labadie has a J.D. law degree from Harvard Law School where he was executive editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy. He has previously clerked for Sullivan & Cromwell in New York and Steptoe & Johnson in Washington, D.C. Mr. Labadie speaks Spanish and works with our Consumer Unit.

Nevin Smith has a J.D. law degree from Albany Law School. Mr. Smith works with our Foreclosure Defense Project.

SLLS is very fortunate to have the help of these outstanding law graduates and attorneys.
