David Koen gave the keynote speech at the April 9 HUD Fair Housing--Fair Lending Conference in Shreveport. Mr. Koen's speech was on Predatory Lending. Currently, Mr. Koen is an attorney with our new Foreclosure Defense Project. He has specialized in predatory lending litigation for several years.

Laura Tuggle provided extensive training to 150 parish marshals on housing law at their April 19 statewide association meeting in Lake Charles.  Ms. Tuggle also spoke at the February 28 HUD conference in New Orleans on landlord-tenant and subsidized housing laws to an audience of 200 people. Ms. Tuggle is the managing attorney of our New Orleans housing law practice group.
