Our attorney, Bernadette D'Souza, has been selected by the State Bar Association for a 2008 Career Public Interest Award. This award is given annually by the State Bar to recognize outstanding achievements by public interest lawyers.

Ms. D'Souza is currently the managing attorney of our New Orleans family law practice group. She has worked in legal aid for 14 years primarily in family, housing and public benefits law. Ms. D'Souza is well known for her outstanding community leadership in advocacy for domestic violence survivors and their children.
